Join us in Thylo Luchenza for our climate action project aligned with the Global Week to Act4SDGs, which coincides with the UN General Assembly week. The Global Week to #Act4SDGs is a global mobilization taking place during the high-level week of the UN General Assembly in September, to show world leaders that people all around the world are committed, dedicated, and inspired to take action on the SDGs. This year’s mobilization focuses on the key themes of Climate, Peace, Gender Equality, Inclusion, and Sustainable Food Systems as the global community comes together to mark the mid-way point of the SDG Agenda.
Our mission and activities are outlined below:
Our main objective is to promote climate-resilient and sustainable agriculture through permaculture training and tree planting, involving schoolchildren and the Luchenza Thyolo community.
Our initiatives include:
Hosting permaculture training sessions focusing on climate-smart farming techniques and establishing a garden that incorporates tree planting.
Offering training sessions on preparing sustainable diets through interactive cooking demonstrations.
Empowering girls with the skills to create sustainable, reusable sanitary pads through specialized training.
